display image below
Hi, I have included a image within my footer and now when anyone sends an email in Google apps gmail you have to click display image below everytime. Do you know of a way to bypass that? Is this common for anyone putting a image into there footer where you have to tell gmail to display image below rather then just display espically from within your domain?

Hi Tal,
It is common since it reduces the size of your email. To display images without needing the recipient to "allow images", the image would need to be "embedded" in the email, in other words, attached like a file to the email. Which in some cases will make your email look like it has an attachment when really you are just adding an image to your Footer.
You will notice that many signatures and footers you receive require you to display images.
That said, we recognize that people want this functionality and we should have it available in the next couple weeks.
I'll keep you posted!
Tal,
Updating. The developers are currently working on improved image embedding. We will probably have internal tests over the next couple days. Everything looking good we may update the service as early as next week.
Keep you posted...
Excellent news that would be very usefull. Thanks for the update.
